Activity Schedule:
Activity requires at least 2 participants.
Total hiking distance: 5 km, total elevation gain: 350 meters. Suitable for most adults and children aged 6 and above.
Departure time: 10:00 AM, meet at Sule Restaurant near the Three Pagodas. Drive about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the trailhead. It is recommended to bring your own trail snacks (bread, chocolate, sandwiches, etc.). The guide will provide tea and fruits during the hike.
Return time: Around 6:30 PM, back near the old town.

I felt like I was curled up inside a gently roaring animal. We drove onto the highway, circling around Cangshan, watching its silhouette grow farther and farther away…
More than ten days ago, Zhen Hao mentioned this forest we were going to visit with great excitement, and she searched for photos from a year ago on her phone to show me.
Among the layered mountains of Yunnan, I have walked into many forests, and we have gradually come to perceive that each forest, due to climate, terrain, vegetation, and human activities, develops its own unique character.
We slowly climbed the slope, bypassed a pile of adorable stone figures, and entered this long-planned forest.
Trees, ferns, mosses, and lichens grow and spread here, with light and shadow flowing, constantly shifting through different shades of green.
Seeing the scene before us, I believe everyone will be moved by the unique vitality of this place.
The "feathers" of these ancient trees form a soft curtain in the wind, and we gently brushed past them as we advanced.
Stepping onto the emerald green meadow in the forest, the clouds came closer and closer. "Like a primeval forest on the clouds," He Chen suddenly said. I think that is an apt name if this forest needs one.
At the end of the sightline, there is the undulating ridge line of Cangshan, as if gazing at a world that is too noisy.
And the clouds are at our feet.
