A relaxed and fun trip, picking mushrooms along the way, and also picking edible wild berries. The kids called it a 'buffet'. Muxiangping is very beautiful, the cows are gentle and lovely, their bells tinkling pleasantly. Thanks to today's guide Hanhan, and our perfect hiking partner, the dog 'Dangeng'. A happy day.

Today's hike gave me a whole new perspective on my child. The little one actually walked ahead of us adults, together with the guide Rini, the whole time. Even when the wind was so strong we couldn't keep our eyes open, she didn't back down. This was of course inseparable from Rini's guidance and encouragement. On the most difficult uphill section, Rini held the child's hand, patiently chatted with her, and frequently made her laugh heartily. For a 7-year-old girl on her first hike to successfully walk over 30,000 steps today, Rini definitely deserves the most credit.

In the deep forest, trekking through, on the open cliff edge viewing, having a picnic on the unpredictable sunny and rainy meadows, this hike taught us to discover nature, enjoy nature, and respect nature, enriching everyone's inner world. Thank you to leader Hanhan for the careful explanations and answers, thank you to leader Huanhuan for the cheerfulness and delicacy, and thank you to the little dog Egg Soup for accompanying us all the way.

Perfect itinerary. I thought it looked nice from pictures, but the personal experience made it even more worthwhile! The guide, Tailor, was very professional! During the first half of the hike uphill, he timely explained various mushrooms and other unknown plants, making it a whole nature observation study camp! He also carefully adjusted the pace according to our physical strength, took great candid shots, and captured many rare group photos. He was enthusiastic but not talkative, making everyone feel relaxed and happy. He also imitated animal calls convincingly, adding fun to interactions with the lovely creatures. Next time I come, I’ll try other routes. I also wish Tailor and the hiking camp all the best!

The scenery along this route is absolutely stunning. Huanhuan explained various plants along the way and was particularly attentive to my physical condition. She also led us to taste delicious wild raspberries. The grasslands of Muxiangping are beautiful, set against the blue sky and white clouds, like a painting. We had a tea break under a big tree, watching clouds drift across the sky while the colors of the grass changed accordingly—it was so healing. We even got up close with the cows, who were very friendly. I'm increasingly fond of measuring every inch of land on foot. I hope to have the chance to hike in Dali again in the future.

Today I took the kids hiking up the mountain. The guides took great care of us, and we absolutely loved Egg Custard. Next time we'll go up the mountain with Egg Custard again.

After an hour along the Erhai Lake road and another hour on a winding mountain road, we started today's hike. Guides Aruna, Hanhan, and the adorable Egg Custard led the kids to recognize various mushrooms, pick and taste wild fruits, and finally we arrived at a high mountain meadow—Muxiangping, known as 'Dali's Little Altay'. No concrete jungle, no ceilings, no signal—only alpine meadows, wildflowers and fruits, blue skies and white clouds, and cows and calves. The camera can't capture the beauty our eyes see; we just wanted to sit down, immerse ourselves, and slowly take it all in…

Muxiangping | Alpine Meadow Light Hike The guides for our hike were Xiaoqi and Yang Mi, along with Yang Mi's warm little dog who wanted to be a driver. Xiaoqi's car had a fairy-tale plant arrangement under the window. As someone who can't drive, I remembered the advice I heard in college: "Don't get nail art for CET-4 and CET-6, it distracts you." But Xiaoqi is an excellent driver. The pace of the hike was great: forests, pine needle paths, stone paths, two thatched rest stops, a gap revealing a bit of pine forest and distant mountains, a picnic on an open meadow, watching a woman in a red headscarf ride a donkey past, climbing the hill with a mani pile, and catching a glimpse of the sparkling Erhai Lake. In short, it was breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you, Xiaoqi and Yang Mi, for your professional knowledge and curiosity even stronger than a tourist's. Even a plant science slacker like me was inspired to pick up many cute plants. I felt their vibrant vitality rooted and growing here, and as a guest, my floating roots also touched down at that moment. After absorbing some natural energy, I want to thank you for spreading happiness.
