This is a family-run reservation restaurant in Yinqiao, with a lovely courtyard. A family lives here and has been running the restaurant for over a decade. The customers are mostly friends from the community or travelers introduced by friends. Limei is from Singapore; she lived in Yinqiao before Dali became popular, when the area was still quite remote.
I went there once myself and really liked her courtyard, which has a lively atmosphere. The kitchen is well-stocked and clean. That day, the Singaporean Laksa she made was delicious, and she also cooks many other Singaporean dishes. Laksa is a traditional dish widely enjoyed in Singapore and Malaysia, a spicy noodle soup typical of Southeast Asia. Its features are a rich and fragrant broth, fresh seafood or meat, and seasonings with spicy and sour notes.
The menu is announced in advance, not ordered on the spot. Prices range from 98 to 108 RMB (children's portions are about 70% of the price), including one main course with a dessert, and a cup of coffee or other drink. Overall, it's quite affordable. And you can experience the atmosphere of a home courtyard, which has its own uniqueness.
Moreover, Limei is quite willing to chat with you about everyday life. Visiting this family restaurant, I believe you may have a different experience.
